Please note: Only one taster workshop per school or youth organisation.

Our Mini Creative Enterprise Workshops are a fun way to teach young people important business skills while being creative. They’ll learn how to make and sell handmade products, giving them a chance to raise money for their school, youth organisation or a chosen charity through sales. It’s a great way to build skills and raise funds!

Young people will decorate small wooden products like keychains and coasters, gaining hands-on experience in business by creating items they can sell. This unique approach not only fosters creativity but also enhances well-being, showing young people how to turn their artistic expressions into profitable ventures. Accessible to all, these workshops feature mixed-ability groups, ensuring inclusivity.

What to Expect:
  • Each 90-minute workshop is led by our experienced Creative Coaches.

  • We begin by introducing our social enterprise, sharing our values, and discussing the importance of sustainability through the circular economy.

  • Participants will learn about the potential for profit by enhancing and decorating their products, setting the stage for a future sales event organised by their school or youth organisation.

  • Followed by a demonstration of the craft project with tips for decorating.

  • Participants will receive a batch of small wooden products made from reclaimed wood, laser-cut by us. They will spend around one hour decorating their products in a relaxed, supportive environment, accompanied by soothing music to create a calming atmosphere that promotes mental well-being.

  • We wrap up each session with photos of the final products and some feedback from the participants. â€‹

By the end of the workshop, students will not only experience the benefits of creativity on their well-being but also understand the fundamentals of making a profit and developing enterprise skills with products crafted from reclaimed materials.

The next step is for the school or youth organisation to host an event, giving young people the opportunity to raise funds by selling their finished products. It’s a perfect combination of skill-building and fundraising!
