“This was a truly excellent experience for my 12 year old daughter. The week of workshops taught them so much and the products they designed, manufactured and pitched were really professional. My daughter has come away really inspired. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a non-screen-based, fun, and genuinely meaningful activity for the school to take part in”

Our Creative Enterprise Challenge is our flagship workshop programme, offering a fully immersive educational experience designed to boost confidence, raise aspirations, and leave a lasting impact on young people.

Ten young people (also known as Challengers) are split into two teams of five to meet a sustainable design brief that involves designing a brand, product, marketing video and start-up business plan. They design and make products using recycled materials and learn product design, graphic design and laser cutting manufacture skills.

The challengers also learn business skills to cost their products to make a profit at retail. At the end of the week, each team has its ‘Dragon’s Den’ moment where they present and pitch their creations to an expert panel of judges who are successful entrepreneurs themselves.

Each team identifies a target market and a corporate client. If they are happy with their finished products, they can then go on to sell them make their own money.

"The Creative Enterprise Challenge aims to educate and inspire young people, who will walk away with so much more than a product and a business plan. We’ve seen the transformation that’s possible in just one week in previous programmes, with young people often starting the programme a little nervous but by the end they’ve made new friends and built their confidence.”

- Sami Lovett

Teacher Testimonial

“The Creative Enterprise scheme gave students the opportunity for student to learn in an out-of-class environment.

As the students were Key Stage 4, it also gave them the chance to experience a more self-led style of thinking and working, which is great for their preparation for adulthood. Our students have never had the chance to work in such a free and creative manner.”
