Volunteer as a Workshop Host
(Creative Coach)

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Volunteer Workshop Hosts (Creative Coaches) to lead our 90-minute creative workshops at schools and youth organisations across West Yorkshire.

As a Creative Coach, you’ll inspire and engage young people, helping them tap into their creativity while supporting their mental health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Host and deliver 90-minute Creative Wellbeing Workshops and Mini Creative Enterprise Workshops for young people aged 10-18 at various schools and youth organisations.

  • Lead hands-on activities, including demonstrating how to decorate and assemble craft kits made from reclaimed wood.

  • Engage with young people in a positive, professional manner, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

  • Share information about our social enterprise, values, and the importance of sustainability during workshops.

  • Travel to different locations across West Yorkshire (must have access to a vehicle).

Requirements:

  • Must be confident, professional, and good with children and young people.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive, motivating atmosphere.

  • A passion for creativity and mental well-being.

  • Driving license and access to a vehicle (required).

  • Experience working with young people (preferred but not essential).

Flexible Hours:
Workshops are scheduled based on the needs of school and youth organisations. We are offering flexible hours that can fit around your schedule.

Volunteer Workshop Booking & Customer Service Assistant

We are looking for a proactive and organised Volunteer Workshop Booking & Customer Service Assistant to join our team. This remote volunteer role is ideal for someone seeking part-time, flexible experience with the ability to manage their own schedule. You will handle workshop bookings and provide exceptional customer service via email and phone, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Workshop Bookings:

  • Process bookings and cancellations via email and phone.

  • Keep accurate records of all bookings and maintain the workshop calenda/s for our workshop hosts.

  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up emails.

Customer Service:

  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.

  • Assist customers with booking issues, cancellations, or rescheduling requests.

  • Provide information on workshop details, availability, and pricing.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Ensure smooth communication between customers and the workshop team.

  • Assist with invoicing, payments, and attendance tracking.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.

  • Gather and report customer feedback to improve the overall experience.

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.

  • Experience using Capsule CRM and online booking systems (preferred).

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own time.

  • Customer service experience (preferred but not required).

  • Comfortable working remotely and using online tools.

Volunteer Social Media Assistant

We are looking for a creative and organised Volunteer Social Media Assistant to join our team! This remote role is perfect for students or individuals with social media experience. You will assist with managing our social media presence, creating engaging content, and growing our audience across various platforms. As we grow, there may be an opportunity to transition into a paid role.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management:

  • Assist in creating and scheduling posts for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok and LinkedIn.

  • Use Canva to develop engaging images, graphics, and visual content, including videos, to align with our brand.

  • Utilize Later to schedule our posts effectively.

  • Monitor social media trends and suggest new content ideas.

Engagement & Audience Growth:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly.

  • Engage with followers and influencers to build community and increase reach.

  • Track performance metrics like likes, shares, and follows to optimize strategies.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Keep content calendars up-to-date.

  • Assist with content planning and brainstorming sessions.

  • Report on social media analytics and provide insights to the team.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Assist in managing customer inquiries via social media channels.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok and LinkedIn).

  • Experience in creating and curating engaging content.

  • Proficiency in Canva for designing engaging images and visual content, including videos and reels.

  • Familiarity with Later for scheduling social media posts.

  • Excellent written communication and creativity.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
