Service Description

Our Creative Wellbeing Lunch Club provides children and young people with a calm, welcoming space to connect, create and reflect during the school day. Through storytelling, guided discussion and creative art activities, participants are encouraged to explore emotions, build confidence, strengthen relationships and develop positive wellbeing habits in a fun, engaging and accessible way. Each session is built around a carefully chosen wellbeing theme, with pupils enjoying a story, discussion or reflective prompt before taking part in a creative activity using bespoke wooden designs and colouring materials. The programme follows a structured, year-round approach, supporting emotional literacy, resilience, self-awareness and a sense of belonging. Themes include understanding feelings, managing worries, kindness, friendship, confidence, growth mindset, identity, emotional regulation and preparing for change. Using a small collection of familiar wellbeing-focused books and resources, participants are encouraged to revisit important ideas throughout the year. We believe repetition is valuable; the same story, activity or discussion can be experienced differently depending on how someone is feeling that day or where they are in their personal journey. Revisiting key themes helps deepen understanding and provides opportunities for reflection, growth and meaningful conversation. The club is designed to be inclusive, accessible and adaptable for a range of educational settings. It offers a positive space away from academic pressures where children and young people can express themselves creatively, share ideas and develop the emotional skills they need to thrive.
