Party Setup & Logistics

How much space do you need at my home or venue? Just enough room for your guests to sit around a dining table or a couple of folding tables! We bring protective table coverings and all the equipment needed.

What happens if a guest doesn't finish their project during the party? No stress at all! Every single guest gets their own take-home craft kit complete with paints and brushes so they can finish off their masterpiece at home.

Do I need to supply anything for the activity? Nope! We bring all the laser-cut wooden builds, paints, brushes, tools, and party bags with us. You just provide the space, table, chairs, and party food!
Bus & Farm Experience Specifics

Where is the Bus & Farm party held? Our unique Double-Decker Bus Studio is located at CATCH in Leeds (LS8 3QY). The party includes 60 minutes of creative making on the bus followed by a 30-minute guided tour to meet the farm animals while the craft paint dries!

Is food allowed on the Double-Decker Bus? We focus on the creative workshop and farm tour on the bus. You are welcome to arrange party food nearby. (Space to hire at CATCH to eat from Nov 2026)

Can I bring a cake? You are welcome to bring a birthday cake to sing Happy Birthday. This can be cut up and put into party bags during the party. (Please bring your own napkins and knife for the cake.)
Guest Numbers & Add-Ons

What if fewer or extra guests show up on the day? Since our packages are sold in set tiers (10, 15/16, or 20 guests), any unused craft kits and party bags from missing guests are left with you to keep or hand out later.

Are the party bags included in the price? Yes! Every package includes our fun, eco-friendly party bags packed with sustainable goodies—so you don't have to worry about sourcing supplies.
Safety & Enterprise Impact

Are the paints safe for kids? We use child-friendly, acrylic paints and lay down table protectors during the session. We still recommend kids wear clothes they don't mind getting a little paint on! We provide protective aprons.

Can children eat food during the creative activity on the bus? We do not supply food or drink. Due to our health and safety policy, our studio space is for crafting purposes only. We do not allow food to be eaten in the studio space. You can bring enclosed bottles (like Fruit Shoots) for your party guests.

How does booking a party support a good cause? We are a Not-for-Profit Social Enterprise! Every birthday party booked directly supports our community youth programmes, helping us teach valuable creative and life skills to young people across West Yorkshire.

What ages are your parties best for? Children aged 6 to 12. The 3D wooden craft builds offer the perfect balance of challenge, creativity, and calm focus for this age group.

Can children under 6 join in? Younger guests (ages 4–5) are welcome to join! Because our builds feature small, precision laser-cut parts, children under 6 will just need a parent to help them.

Do kids need any crafting experience? Not at all. Our patient Creative Coaches guide every child step-by-step. The sessions are inclusive, therapeutic, and tailored to support all abilities and learning styles.

Are these parties suitable for older kids (9–12)? Definitely! Older children love the hands-on "maker studio" feel. Building real 3D wooden models using reclaimed materials feels like a proper design project, keeping them fully engaged and proud of their finished build.
