Be the Boss: Design a Business for Good

Service Description

he Experience: A fast-paced, 60-minute session split into two parts. First, students discover exactly what a social enterprise is and learn how businesses can be used as a force for good. Then, they form "Design Agencies," roll our custom Decision Dice, and race against the clock to design and pitch their own business concept that solves a real-world social issue. The Hands-On Making: To finish the session, every student gets 20 minutes to decorate their own laser-cut wooden puzzle piece with something that inspires them or makes them happy—a physical reminder of their potential to take home. The Focus: Understanding Social Enterprise, Teamwork, Employability Skills, Problem Solving, and Self-Reflection. The Cost: FREE (Fully Funded by Us). The Requirement: A brief post-session consultation with a member of SLT or your Careers Lead to discuss how we can partner long-term.
